Tools connected, not replaced

API integrations

An API integration makes two tools exchange data automatically: a form feeding a CRM, a CRM feeding billing, an internal tool feeding a dashboard. Abel Agency builds those connections when an API exists and the exchange is genuinely useful, with error handling so a failure is visible rather than silent.

Describe your project

What an integration removes

Manual re-entry is the most common source of errors and delay: the same information typed into two tools, with differences appearing as soon as one is updated without the other.

A connection between systems keeps one source of truth per piece of data, and makes the exchange traceable.

What we check before building one

  • Does the tool expose a documented API, and does your plan include access to it?
  • Which direction does the data flow, and which system is authoritative?
  • What happens if the target system is unavailable?
  • Is the exchanged data personal data, and what does that imply?

How it works, step by step

  1. 1Online qualification and inventory of the tools involved.
  2. 2Technical check of available APIs, access rights and limits.
  3. 3Written scope: flows, direction, frequency, error handling.
  4. 4Implementation and testing, including failure cases.
  5. 5Go live with logs and monitoring.

What is included

  • Connections between systems that expose a usable API
  • Error handling and retries where the API allows it
  • Exchange logs
  • Written technical documentation of the built flows

What is not included

  • Third-party subscriptions or API plans in your name
  • Reverse-engineering a tool that exposes no API
  • Any commitment on a third-party provider's availability or API changes

Hypothetical use cases

The situations below are illustrations built to explain how the system works. They are neither client references nor results obtained.

Use case — website and business tool

Hypothetical illustration, not a client reference: a website request is created in the CRM and, once accepted, forwarded to the tool used for scheduling, with no double entry.

Use case — consolidated reporting

Hypothetical illustration, not a client reference: data from several tools is consolidated into one view, so the number of requests and their sources no longer require a manual export.

Questions to ask before choosing

  • Does the third-party tool actually expose an API on your plan?
  • Are failures visible, or do they fail silently?
  • Is the flow documented so another provider could take it over?
  • Who holds the API keys, and where are they stored?

Limits and conditions

  • An integration depends on a third-party API: if the provider changes or restricts it, the flow must be adapted.
  • No numeric commercial result is guaranteed, and we do not publish performance averages you could not verify yourself.
  • Ownership of accounts, content and access, support terms and termination conditions are defined in the quote approved before work starts.

The role of Abel Agency

Abel Agency assembles connected digital systems: website, acquisition, CRM, automation, integrations / API and measurement. Each block is added only when it serves the objective described during qualification, and the scope is written before production. We work remotely, for companies based in France.
